What You’ll Do
You will be part of Autoliv’s Compliance & Corporate Integrity team (CCI), which is a global function responsible for managing and monitoring the Autoliv’s Compliance Program. The group currently consists of nine people excluding the VP, and the group continues to expand. This is a global role where you will have team members across the world, from Central America to Asia to Europe.
As a Compliance Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work broadly across legal fields in supporting the organization to ensure that legal compliance risks are monitored and proactively managed.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Conduct global legal research and monitoring to ensure that the company and its management is aware of, and compliant with, emerging regulatory and legal requirements.
- In coordination with the Legal Team, provide legal support and guidance in the areas of Data Privacy, Antitrust, Anticorruption, Sanctions, and other relevant legal compliance areas.
- Be part of the design, development and continuous improvement of compliance programs addressing the relevant legal compliance areas.
- Review company policies and practices on a regular basis to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
- Recommend or create new or updated compliance policies and procedures.
- Develop and conduct training
- Provide legal support and assist in high-risk/complex compliance investigations.
- Conduct relevant training as may be required.
What Is Required
The right candidate has a legal education and at least five years of experience from a Legal and/or Compliance function in an international environment. You have good knowledge within anti-trust, anti-corruption, and trade-sanctions. You should also be familiar with privacy and ESG. Fluency in English is a requirement, other language skills applicable to Autoliv’s operating countries is beneficial.
To thrive at Autoliv you should be open-minded, curious, driven, structured and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are comfortable working independently as well in a team, with colleagues from different parts of the world.
