About The Job
As Data Protection Officer/Privacy Legal Counsel at Tele2 Sverige AB, you will have a central and relatively independent role with the opportunity to work closely with the entire organization, both at strategic and operational level. Organizationally, you belong to Tele2 Corporate Affairs and report to the Head of Legal.
Key tasks:
- Develop and maintain our framework for managing personal data.
- Provide strategic privacy guidance and advice on personal data-related issues, including advising on data protection impact assessments, audits, incident response planning, policy and procedure development and training.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation by conducting regular audits and risk analyses within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant legislation.
- Create and implement training within the framework of GDPR and other relevant legislation and monitor changes to such regulations.
- Act as a contact person between Tele2 Sweden and relevant authorities (e.g. IMY and PTS).
- Partner closely with functions and leadership across Tele2 to identify and resolve data privacy issues at the outset of new projects and business initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ relevant work experience and a relevant academic degree, preferably in law.
- Solid knowledge of the GDPR and relevant legal and regulatory challenges in the data privacy area and preferably also in the telecom sector.
- Experience in the field of information security is a plus.
- It is desirable, but not required, that you have an understanding of processes related to telecom networks, IT and overall business operations in telecom or from another complex technical and organisational landscape.
- Experience in leading workshops.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
